Reflections

      In an act of charity, Our Lady, after hearing the Good News of her own miraculous pregnancy, went & traveled to visit her cousin, St. Elizabeth, who, too has a miraculous pregnancy at an old age.

     This Joyful event is also where Our Lady proclaimed her Magnificat, her soul proclaims the Glory of the Lord Our God. “Holy is His Name!!” … Great is His Glory.

We read in Scripture that all who enter into heavenly glory shall receive a crown and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. So it is fitting that the 5th Glorious Mystery we meditate on its that of the Coronation of Our Lady, who enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, body & soul, being greeting by an angelic choir.

Extraordinary times calls for extraordinary measures. As we find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic, we can with certainly call this, “extraordinary times” where the majority of people outside are wearing surgical mask and gloves, yet no one is on their way to perform a surgery.

  The message of the Incarnation (that is God becoming man, by taking on flesh, our human flesh), this message was made known by St. Gabriel the Archangel, to Our Lady, Blessed Virgin Mary.
